1.) What did you do prior to landing the best job you’ll ever have?
I held managerial sales positions at Emser Tile, Milgard, and PGT Custom Windows + Doors.

2.) Where did you go to school?
I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

3.) What are your responsibilities as VP of custom sales?
Overseeing the sales strategy, overseeing the outside and inside sales teams and architectural consultants, and building relationships with customers.

4.) What’s your superpower?
Listening. It’s about really hearing people in order to meet their needs.

5.) First impression of the Western Window Systems facility?
I like the open spaces and utilizing our products throughout the building. All the games and artwork give the image of a cool company to work for.

6.) Honest assessment of your ping-pong skills?
I’m OK at ping-pong. We have our family tournament every Christmas, so usually by October or November, you start breaking out the paddle to not embarrass yourself. We’re competitive.

7.) Dogs or cats?
Dogs. My wife and I like to take long walks with our Australian Shepherd minis. They’re brothers that we’ve had since they were puppies and they’re almost 11 years old now.

8.) How many kids?
Three, not including the dogs.

9.) Favorite hobby?
I’m an avid golfer. You need to stay focused to put up a good score.

10.) Have you gone down the office slide?
Heck, yes! As soon as I saw it, I thought to myself, ‘I’ll be going down that slide very soon.’ It only took me a month, but now I might make it a habit.
