This beautiful home in Southern California was designed and built by the talented Peter Vracko, from Vracko Design and Construction. The challenging build (which climbs vertically up the side of a hill) is a beautiful sight to see, as is the way he utilized Western Window Systems’ Series 600 Multi-Slide door systems to open entire walls to the beautiful California weather. With custom views, narrow sightlines, and modern styling – this project was a perfect fit for Western Window Systems’ products.

A massive sliding door opens to a balcony overlooking Los Angeles, letting in copious amounts of natural light and Southern California breezes.
First, they had to position the home perfectly on the lot to take advantage of the views of Camelback Mountain. That presented a challenge. “The cul-de-sac cuts into part of the lot. Then you have the views out what might be a side yard,” Nassos says. “So we had to angle the house to capture the views of the mountain and design around the cul-de-sac and all the setbacks that come along with it. It was extremely challenging to come up with a floor plan that worked but embraced what was around it.”
Befitting the cool LA lifestyle, the beautiful living room is graced with contemporary-looking Western Window Systems doors and windows.
