With the ability to swing in or out and available in widths up to 46″ and heights up to 144″, the Series 7980 Pivot Door is built to push the limits. For even more design flexibility, it can be partnered with any Performance Line fixed or hinged window styles.

Performance

The Series 7980 Pivot Door features a .30 U-value for standard, low-E, argon-filled dual-pane glass and a signature aluminum extrusion design that further reduces energy consumption. Secured corners and top and bottom rails that nest with the stiles create a permanent, rigid connection that’s built to last. Compliant with California’s rigorous Title 24 requirements.

Design and Operation

Western Window Systems’ Series 7980 Pivot Door delivers easy operation and a clean, modern design. A 5.875″ frame depth is comparable to that of typical storefront systems and allows for more light. Custom pivot-hardware supports the weight with the bottom arm, creating less stress on the frame and allowing the door to swing effortlessly. An optional concealed overhead closure and secondary lock ensure the door is self-closing. Optional 10″ bottom rail.

Commercial Threshold

The low-profile commercial threshold of the Series 7980 Pivot Door favors ease of entry over protection from the elements. Capable of meeting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Satin and bronze anodized finish options.

Offset Ladder Pull

Our offset ladder pull handle offers contemporary styling with a 48″ handle length. Finish choices are available in brushed nickel or black.

Hardware

Standard hardware for the Series 7980 Pivot Door includes the Type C lock (a standard deadbolt lock with a 1.5″ backset), top and bottom roller catches to help pull the door in tight, and a 48″ tall offset ladder-style pull handle available in a brushed stainless or black finish.
